What SkillLab collects
Contact form. When you use the contact form, SkillLab receives the name, email address and message you enter. That information is used only to reply to you. It is not sold, not shared, and not added to any mailing list — there isn’t one.
Comments. If you leave a comment, the name, email address and comment you enter are stored, along with your IP address and browser details. That is standard WordPress spam protection, and it helps follow-up comments be recognised as yours.
Server logs. The hosting server keeps standard logs — IP address, pages visited, browser type — for security and troubleshooting. Logs rotate automatically.
Cookies
WordPress sets a cookie when you log in (site administrators only) and, if you comment, an optional cookie to remember your details for next time. LiteSpeed Cache may set a cookie so cached pages load faster. SkillLab does not run advertising or third-party analytics cookies, so there is no advertising tracking on this site.
Links to other websites
SkillLab links to course platforms such as Coursera, Udemy and others. Clicking one of those links takes you to another website, which has its own privacy policy and its own way of handling data. SkillLab does not control what those sites collect.
Some of those links are affiliate links: if you buy through one, SkillLab may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The outside site may set its own cookies to record the referral — that is how affiliate programmes work. SkillLab does not receive your personal details from them.
Who SkillLab shares data with
Nobody, except in these cases: the hosting provider stores the site’s data; the email provider handles contact-form messages; and if the law requires it. SkillLab does not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How long data is kept
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them and follow up — usually no longer than 12 months. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognised. Server logs are deleted automatically on rotation.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information SkillLab holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — unless the law, or the site’s legitimate operations, require keeping it. Write to khabibishere@gmail.com and it will be handled.
Changes to this policy
This page may be updated when the site changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new version.
